Long over due post

I was just looking back and realized that I haven't posted anything on here sense August. Wow-times goes way to fast. So here goes a long update. I'll try my hardest to keep this up to date.

So may back to September; Amara started preschool again. This time she's going two days a week and once again loving it! She has gotten to go to the fire station, play out side lots and today they are going to the library. She was very excited about the library trip today with her class, her friends! Also in September Amara started dance again. She is in it with her very best friend, Ava, and is having lots of fun at dance class. Jeremy once again had season tickets to the U of M, Gopher football games. He enjoys the tailgating just as much as the game. Hopefully the team will be better next year, so the games are more exciting to watch. I was able to go to a game with him, once again, this year. It's always a lot of fun and the weather was much better this season then past seasons. I starte playing volleyball again in September. Our team isn't the best, but we have made it to playoffs a few times. It's fun!! Jeremy got to go to Google, out in California, for work. He had an amazing time and came home saying he wanted to live out there. If it weren't for family, I think it's safe to say we wouldn't be in MN. We love the nicer weather year around, can't beat that!

In October we got to three different pumpkin patches/apple orchard places. The first was a pumpkin patch with some friends, that we have been to a few times, but it's just as much fun each year. We went to a little apple orchard, also near our house, too with my sister, Kellie and her family. Amara and I went with Ava and her mom, Mallory, to a pumpkin patch in the cities that was very cool. Nothing compares to the one in Omaha, NE though. That place is the best by far! The night before my birthday Jeremy and I went to a good friend's wedding and we took advantage of the alone time and got a hotel room, so we could celebrate my b-day too. The girls stayed with my mom and Andy, and of course a great time was had by all.

In November we started a new daycare with an in home provider that lives about a block from our house. It's great! Amara and Ava now go to the same daycare and are loving it. We are also able to carpool with Ava's parent (Jeremy's best friend and wife) for school. Ava has a little sister, Ellie, and we like to thing that her and Norah (only 4 months apart) will become besties too, only time will tell. I can't believe that Norah turned 1 on the 20th, already. I'm still asking myself where that year just went. She is our adorable, determined, strong willed little girl. That will payoff in the future for her. We had one big birthday party for her with family and friends; it was a lot of fun!! I was able to make it to the Canterbury Craft sale in the cities that I always go to with my mom and Kellie in April and Nov. We always have a great time and are very tired out by the end of the day.
December was a month that went by way to fast! It started with breakfast with santa at Amara's school. I had to convince her to talk to Santa so he knew what she wanted. She couldn't just tell mommy, but santa needs to know too. We also went to the mall and saw "the real" santa too. He is a great guy that Amara was comfortable telling him what she wanted. Amara concluded that the santa at her school was just Santa’s helper. To cute! Needless to say, Santa did bring Amara (and Norah) what she wanted. Justin Beiber stuff!! Our little 4 year old has an obsession with him. She now has a cd, movie, shirt, puzzle and poster of this guy. There are worse people that she could be obsessed with, so far this is okay, but we'd had to limit the amount of times we hear the cd and watch the movie. Amara has informed up that she'd like a Justin Beiber Birthday cake as well. Christmas was lots of fun with Norah this year as she was able to open the gifts more then last year. The excitement in Amara's eyes was priceless as well as she opened all of her gifts, especially the gifts from Santa. New Years Eve we made the 2hr trip down to Waterloo Iowa, where Kellie and Chad live, to celebrate. I know 2 hours isn't a long trip, but it is with a little girl that keeps asking "are we there yet, how much longer" and another little girl that just wants out of her car seat. Thank God for dvd players at times like that. It was a lot of fun!! We had a conference for Amara at school and her teacher said she's right on track for starting kindergarten, can't believe we're to that point already, but very excited!

In January I made a quick decision and decided to back to school for nursing. With work and a family it'll be slow going but I'll get it done sooner or later. I've been out of school for 2 and 1/2 years and thought I need to do this now or wait until Norah is in school. Jeremy and I both thought it was best to do it now. So I started Chemistry up on Jan. 9th. I go two nights a week to class. We also decided to remodel our main bathroom and Jeremy started that project the first week in January. Needless to say we've been very busy! Amara had her first dance recital and it was lots of fun to watch her. We seldomly get to watch during dance class each week, but Amara did show us the dance at home. It was fun to see it all put together though. She did great and knew all of the moves, can't wait until the May recital!! We had a kindergarten meeting, and got her all registered. She is very excited to start going to "garden" school, as she calls it! The weather has been unexpectedly very nice for this time of year, so Jeremy hasn't been able to do much ice fishing this year, but he's gotten out a few times.

That brings us to February; I'm still asking myself where the time went. Norah started walking all over the place about 2 months ago and she's always finding out new things and exploring the house, she especially likes getting to the dog food before me. She got so excited this past Sunday (Superbowl Sunday) that her body got in front of her feet and she fell into the bed frame of our bed. She hit her chin on the metal part. After 3 saturated band aids and an hr and a 1/2 later, we made a trip to the ER, where just hearing what happened ,and without even looking at it they knew she'd need stitches. Poor girl got 3 stitches. They use a numbing cream so of course she didn't feel anything, but she was so scared with so many people standing over her, even though mom was holding her the whole time, obviously. Norah is doing great with having a band aid on her chin and is still her happy little self that continues to explore and be fearless. For Valentine's Day Amara is giving out Justin Beiber valentines......surprise, surprise! This weekend I get to go to a scrapbooking retreat. I can't wait to get my shutterfly books done without interruptions, although I'll be very excited to see my little girls, and Jeremy too, on Sunday.!
Now onto getting updated pictures posted!!
